2 Arrested in Sears Power-Tool Theft Incident

18 Dewalt power tools were taken and two Yonkers men have been charged.

James J. Damico, 41, and Johnny Faris Jr., 27, face charges of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

The two were arrested July 14 after Sears security called Yorktown police to report a man had stolen power tools and clothing and were fleeing in a tan Lincoln Town Car.

Officers Keith Fortunato and Brian Mundy and Detective Sean Lewis stopped a car matching that description near the rear entrance of Sears at the Jefferson Valley Mall. Damico was a passenger and Faris was driving.
