2 DWI Charges for Yorktown Man

He was stopped at 2AM on Route 202.

Michael Dinsmore, 34, of Mohegan Lake, is due in Yorktown town court Jan. 20 to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, aggregated driving while intoxicated, and disobeying a traffic control device.

While on patrol, Police Officer Paul Grieve saw Dinsmore driving off the Taconic State Parkway and swerving on Route 202 at 2 a.m. Dec. 17.

Grieve stopped him and, in the course of the interview, drew the conclusion that he was drunk and arrested him for driving while intoxicated.

A subsequent breath test recorded his blood alcohol level at .18 percent, leading to the second DWI charge.

He was released without bail to a friend.
