2 Teens Charged In Bomb Threat At Lakeland HS
The school was evacuated and searched after the threat was found.

YORKTOWN, NY — Two teenagers were charged with making a bomb threat that caused Lakeland High School to be evacuated and searched. Yorktown Police said Emma R. Lienau, 16, of Amazon Road in Mohegan Lake, and Alexandra M. Pujol, 17, of Panorama Drive in Mohegan Lake, were both charged with felony first-degree falsely reporting an incident.
Police said around 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 1 the Lakeland High School resource officer reported a bomb threat at the school.
An investigation found that the two teens wrote a bomb threat on the wall in a girls bathroom around 9:15 a.m. Feb. 1.

As a result, the school was evacuated and searched by Yorktown and Westchester County Police officers and bomb-detection dogs.
The search did not find any explosive devices.

Lienau was arrested around 10:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 5 outside her home.
Pujo voluntarily appeared at police headquarters about 11:45 a.m. the same day and was charged.
The teens were arraigned by a judge who released them on their own recognizance to appear in Yorktown Court Feb. 22.
