
YORKTOWN, NY — Westchester County’s only country fair is set to begin in Yorktown. The 2017 Yorktown Grange Fair will be held from Friday, Sept. 8 through Sunday, Sept. 10. The theme this year “highlights the three pillars of family, fun and agriculture,” according to organizers.
Tickets can be ordered online using Pay Pal or a credit card. Advance sale tickets must be picked up at the Grange Building at 99 Moseman Road in Yorktown Heights.

New for 2017 is the opportunity to enjoy craft beer form the Roscoe Beer Company, which was awarded “Craft Beer of the Year” by Taste NY.
There will, of course, be food vendors from local restaurants and delis, along with local cider and doughnuts.

The Annual Tractor Parade will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 9. It will begin at the Yorktown Fire Department fair grounds on Veterans Road, continue to Commerce Street to Hanover Street and conclude at the Grange Fair grounds on Moseman Avenue.
The Yorktown Police Department said, to provide for the safety of parade participants and spectators, the following roadways will be closed from approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday until the conclusion of the parade, which is estimate to last one hour.
