4 Area Teens Charged with Trespassing in Yorktown
The suspects are from Yorktown Heights, Peekskill, Mohegan Lake and Putnam Valley.

YORKTOWN, NY — Four Hudson Valley teens face trespass charges for an incident that occurred Saturday.
Police said the four men — three of whom are 18 and one, 17 — were taken into custody after police responded around 6:46 p.m. to a Cooper Street address after having received a call about an unknown subject in the residence.
Two of the men — a Mohegan Lake resident and a Putnam Valley resident —exited the home and were arrested without incident.

The other two —a Yorktown Heights resident and a Peekskill resident — resisted arrest by going back into the house and hiding in the attic, police said.
An investigation found the four teens were in the house without permission of the owner.

The teens were arrested and taken to police headquarters.
All four were charged with second-degree criminal trespass, a misdemeanor.
The Peekskill and Yorktown Heights teens were additionally charged with resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. They were released after paying $200 and $300 bail, respectively.
The other two teens were release on their own recognizance.
None of the names were released due to their eligibility for youthful offender status or juvenile status.
They are all scheduled to appear in court Jan. 3, 2017.
