Accused Shoplifter Nabbed 2nd Time Around
Police say he was recognized on a return trip to Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall.

YORKTOWN, NY — Yorktown police report the arrest of Irving Baisley of Putnam Valley on a charge of petty larceny.
Police said they were called to Sears in the Jefferson Valley Mall at about 7:20 p.m. Oct. 25. Store security told police that a man they identified as Baisley had left the store that morning with $179.98 worth of unpaid-for merchandise, and that they had recognized him when he returned in the evening. They alleged that when they stopped him from leaving at 7:20 p.m. he was carrying merchandise valued at $382.92.
Baisley was arrested and released on $250 cash bail, police said. He is due in Yorktown court Nov. 22.
