Accused Of Stealing Postage At Work: Yorktown Police

YORKTOWN, NY — A Yonkers woman who worked in the Yorktown Medical Building on Veterans Road faces a charge of petty larceny. Yorktown police said she was accused of stealing $32.10 worth of postage from her employer.

Police report that they were called to an office there on Jan. 13 on a report of a past petty larceny. They said their investigation concluded that Yazlyn M. Rodriguez, 26, took the postage over a 3-day period.

Rodriguez turned herself in at Yorktown Police Headquarters on Feb. 1. After processing she was released and is scheduled for a court appearance Feb. 20.
