Algonquin Seeks OK to Start Pipeline Expansion
Three segments from Stony Point to Yorktown, including crossing the Hudson River

Algonquin has written the Federal Energy Regulation Commission asking for authorization to proceed with construction of three project segments.
The first segment, Stony Point to Yorktown Take-Up and Relay, spans from Stony Point through Verplanck, Buchanan and Cortlandt.
The second and third are in Yorktown.

The letter says:
Algonquin has received the necessary Federal and state environmental permits (see Attachment A) and the necessary property/access rights that apply to these areas. As part of the request, Algonquin is requesting authorization to commence the Hudson River HDD as well.
