YORKTOWN, NY — An investigation into a mugging at a Yorktown bank led to the arrest of three teenagers from Queens.
Yorktown police said the men, ages 19, 19 and 18, were charged with felony robbery, grand larceny and felony possession of stolen property.
On Thursday, at 11:44 a.m., Yorktown police responded to the TD Bank at 3660 Lee Road on a report of a strong-arm robbery. Investigators say the suspects forcibly stole the victim's purse, which contained more than $1,000 in cash and credit cards.
Following an investigation, the three teens were located in White Plains by the Westchester County Police Department, and taken to Yorktown Police Department headquarters for processing.
Ashton Munoz Cordoba 19; Engelber Eduardo Rudas Seijas, 19; and Harguar Steven Arias Salamanca, 18; were awaiting arraignment, according to the latest from the Yorktown police.
