The Rye Police Department, the Rye Fire Department, and the Rye Department of Public Works are responding to downed wires and trees throughout the city.

The city is reporting downed wires at Midland Ave. and Peck Ave., and near Rye City Hall. Downed trees have been reported at Midland Ave and Peck Ave; Manursing Way toward the beach clubs, and Oakland Beach Ave. near Hix Ave.
