ATV Accident Yields Drunken Driving Accusation
Police said he eventually turned himself in at police headquarters.
YORKTOWN, NY — A Yorktown man was accused of drunken driving after he was injured on his all-terrain vehicle.
The Yorktown Police Department said Thomas Taylor, 42, of Yorktown, was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.
Police said, shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sept. 4, an officer was sent to Kamhi Drive after a report of an ATV accident in the roadway with injuries.

The investigation found Taylor was driving the ATV in the roadway while intoxicated.
He was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Taylor voluntarily surrendered himself Tuesday at the police department and was processed on the charge.
He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in the Yorktown Justice Court Sept. 23.
