UPDATE: Police Want to ID Bank Robbery Suspect
A man had a teller put money in plastic bags at the Putnam County Savings Bank on Lee Boulevard, Yorktown police said.
The Putnam County Savings Bank at 4739 Lee Blvd. in Yorktown was robbed at about 2 p.m. Friday, police said.
A man handed several plastic bags to a teller and told her to put money in them.
Police describe the man as a light-skinned black male, about 6’2”, wearing a black baseball hat, sunglasses, light colored pants and a green “Mexican hoodie.”
