Beacon Teens Accused Of Assault In Yorktown
The boys were charged with juvenile delinquency.
YORKTOWN, NY — Two Dutchess County teens were arrested after being accused of assaulting someone.
The Yorktown Police Department said an officer responded to a Fox Meadow Road address for an unrelated incident when he was flagged down by a person who said someone had been assaulted by two young people Wednesday.
An investigation found the two 17-year-old boys from Beacon had repeatedly struck the person, causing pain and swelling to the person's head and eye.

The teens were placed under arrest and taken to the Yorktown Police Headquarters for processing.
They were charged with juvenile delinquency, with the underlying charge being third-degree assault, a misdemeanor.

After being processed, the teens were issued juvenile appearance tickets and released to their parents.
The 17-year-olds are scheduled to appear at the Westchester County Department of Probation Tuesday.
