From Brutal to Balmy: Work Week Weather

We’ve got a mood-swing week coming up.

“Most of the Hudson Valley saw their 1st snowflakes of the 15-16 winter season on Sunday, which was fitting, considering it felt more like the end of November… instead of mid October,” said Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. “But don’t lose hope, Hudson Valley… warmer temps are on the way as we move thru the week.”

Monday will struggle to climb up to the 50s, forecasters say. But by midweek it will be in the 70s, about 10 degrees warmer than usual. The normal temperature for mid-October is about 10 degrees cooler, in the lower 60s F, according to AccuWeather.com.

By Friday, a new cold front should bring things to a more normal state, weather-wise, for late October.
