Take the family to the 102nd annual Yorktown Grange Fair, Westchester’s only traditional country fair, for "Goats, Games, and Good Times!"
September 11-13th. There are so many fun things to do and see including a mile-long tractor parade, midway rides, live music &amp; entertainers, a horse show, livestock, mechanical bull, blue ribbon &amp; audience participation contests, hay rides, exhibits, artisan vendors, great food, craft beer and so much more! 
The Fair is excited to announce a great line-up of live entertainment, bringing back fan favorites while mixing in new acts. 

Featured on the blacktop stage on Friday night, September 11th is the Mike Risko Band, a high-energy rock &amp; pop band, playing rock anthems, pop favorites, and crowd-pleasers. The fan-favorite Whiskey’s Edge Band is returning to the stage on Saturday afternoon, September 12th with a mix of today’s new country and some of yesterday’s best hits. Get ready to boot-scoot boogie with line dancing lessons too! The headliner band on Saturday night, September 12th is Jokerz Wild, fronted by vocal sensation Alex Nikki, blending classic rock influences with a modern edge. Returning to the stage on Sunday afternoon, September 13th is local favorite No Options who really bring it all to the stage with fun rock ‘n’ roll that will keep you dancing. 

Back by popular demand this year for kid focused fun are two seasoned musical acts: Kurt Gallagher whose songs for playful children always delight, and Annie and the Natural Wonder Band who play fun Americana songs designed to teach kids about the natural world. 

Also returning is Wacky Chad, performing on the blacktop his action‑packed, interactive stunt comedy show featuring extreme pogo stick stunts, tall‑unicycle feats, and “dangerous” juggling. New to the fair this year is a hilarious mechanical bull ride, guaranteed to entertain and engage the crowd as cowboy and cowgirl wannabes try to hold on!


The fair is bursting with exciting entertainment and family-approved fun – and with a low admission price of only $15 per carload and reasonably priced wristbands offering unlimited rides, it’s a great deal!&nbsp; There’s always something fantastic happening around the fairgrounds!
The fair hours are Friday September 11th 4-11pm, Saturday September 12th
10am-11pm and Sunday September 13th 10am-7pm.10-11am on Saturday and Sunday are quiet hours to accommodate those with special needs.&nbsp; Hope to see you there!

What happens when one of America’s most celebrated Revolutionary War heroes becomes a traitor?
That question comes dramatically to life on September 20 when local songwriters and performers Carla Lynne Hall and Jim Keyes present This Man’s a Spy, an original musical and historical program exploring one of the most extraordinary episodes of the American Revolution: the secret treasonous plot between American Major General Benedict Arnold and British Major John André.
Third in a series of four concerts, this concert shifts our focus from the music based on the ideas that gave birth to our nation and the role that Yorktown played during the Revolutionary War to the musical story of the treasonous plot between a spy and a traitor, a pivotal and dramatic event that our Yorktown played a role in during Revolutionary War.
In 1780, Arnold was placed in command of West Point, the strategically vital American fortress on the Hudson River. While secretly communicating with the British, Arnold plotted to surrender West Point in exchange for money and a British military commission. André, the British officer directing the espionage effort, became Arnold’s principal contact. The plot unraveled dramatically in September 1780. André was captured in Tarrytown carrying papers connected to Arnold's plan, while Arnold escaped to the British lines. André was subsequently tried as a spy and executed in Tappan.
This Man’s a Spy goes beyond the familiar story of Benedict Arnold, the traitor. “Through original songs, storytelling and interactive discussion, Hall and Keyes invite the audience to consider the personalities, motivations, choices and consequences behind the conspiracy,” noted Lynn Briggs, Chairman, Yorktown Heritage Preservation Commission / Yorktown 250. Who was the real Benedict Arnold before he became synonymous with treason? Why did he turn against the American cause? What drove André to risk his life on a clandestine mission? And how close did the conspirators actually come to delivering West Point to the British?
The National Park Service describes Arnold as one of Washington’s most brilliant military commanders who ultimately became one of the Revolution’s most notorious betrayers. His attempted surrender of West Point failed, but the consequences of the conspiracy reverberated throughout the Revolution and preserved the Continental army’s control of the Hudson River and united public morale against a common enemy.
The setting itself adds another layer of Revolutionary War atmosphere. The First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown, at 2880 Crompond Road, has deep roots in Yorktown history. The congregation dates to the colonial period, and the original church was destroyed by British troops in 1779 before being rebuilt. The present church site is therefore an especially evocative location for an evening devoted to the Revolutionary era.
This Man’s a Spy is designed not simply as a concert, but as an immersive historical experience—bringing our audience into the dangerous world of Revolutionary War espionage and asking them to look again at two of the conflict's most intriguing figures,” Briggs further noted.
Come hear the story told through music. Question the evidence. And decide for yourself: Was Benedict Arnold a hero who became a traitor—or was the traitor there all along? This Man’s a Spy promises an evening where history, music and storytelling converge to bring the extraordinary André-Arnold treasonous plot vividly back to life in one of Yorktown’s very own historic landmarks.

In a Berlin nightclub, as the 1920s draw to a close, a garish Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience and assures them they will forget all their troubles at the Cabaret. With the Emcee’s bawdy songs as wry commentary, Cabaret explores the dark, heady and tumultuous life of Berlin’s natives and expatriates as Germany slowly yields to the emerging Third Reich. Cliff, a young American writer newly arrived in Berlin, is immediately taken with English singer Sally Bowles. Meanwhile, Fräulein Schneider, proprietor of Cliff and Sally’s boarding house, tentatively begins a romance with Herr Schultz, a mild-mannered fruit seller who happens to be Jewish. Musical numbers include “Willkommen,” “Cabaret,” “Don't Tell Mama” and “Two Ladies.”
Know Before You Go: Cabaret explores mature themes that may not be suitable for younger audience members. This production is rated PG-13. All dates and times subject to change.
