The Golden Apple Chorus invites women of all ages to Sing Through The Summer with our a cappella barbershop chorus.Join us on Tuesday evenings, July 7 through August 18, and learn two songs to perform with the chorus at the Yorktown Lions Concert on August 23.
Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings, July 7 through August 18 at 6:30pm, at the Mt Pleasant Town Hall, Tower Room, 1 Town Hall Plaza, Valhalla, NY.RVSP by email to gacsings@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
The Golden Apple Chorus is a women’s a cappella barbershop chorus, and a member of SingUnited International (formerly Sweet Adelines International).This award-winning chorus has been entertaining audiences in Westchester County for more than 50 years.

Manga &amp; Anime - Summer Edition Wednesdays throughout July &amp; August These programs are for those entering 5th to 12th grade in the fall. Our popular Manga and Anime clubs continue into summer edition mode. 

Wednesdays at 4 -5 PM <strike></strike>July 8, July 22, August 5, &amp;&nbsp;August 19 Anime Afternoon is a chance to hangout and watch new, old, favorite or trending anime. We try to watch three first episodes which have been previewed by the librarian. Snacks are provided. If you have questions about content or food allergies we need to know about, please contact the YA Librarian. 
Wednesdays, at 5 - 6 PM July 15, July 29, August 12, &amp;&nbsp;August 26 Manga with a Twist of Anime is where we read a manga and watch the anime to compare and contrast. This is a fun way to find great new series to watch and read. Plus manga is a quick read which is perfect for summer. The Great Dinosaur Detectives with Steve "The Dirtmeister" Tomecek Saturday, July 18 at 1 - 2 PM

Especially designed to go along with this year’s summer reading theme of “Unearth A Story”, this highly interactive program gives family audiences the inside scoop on how paleontologists use fossils and other evidence to unlock the mysteries of dinosaurs and other extinct life forms. In this program, master storyteller and award-winning author Steve “The Dirtmeister” Tomecek takes participants on a trip into the past using real dinosaur fossils that audience members can actually touch. Along the way he'll discuss the work of some of the great dinosaur detectives of the past including Richard Owen, Gideon Mantell, and Mary Anning.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult in the building.
