Car Stuck in Snowbank, Driver Charged with DWI

The snowbank in question was on Route 139.

Michelle Baron of Pawling, NY faces a charge of Driving While Intoxicated, a Misdemeanor.

State troopers responded March 7 to a report of a disabled vehicle stuck in a snow bank near the Somers Library on State Route 139. Police said their investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle, Baron, was intoxicated.

Baron, 31, furnished a breath sample that revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of .17 percent, more than two times the legal limit of intoxicated. She was issued traffic tickets ordering her to appear before the Town of Somers Court on March 23.
