Cold Front Coming: Weekend Weather for Yorktown
Enjoy complaining about the heat and humidity while you can.
We may see some brief heavy downpours and gusty winds late on Friday, predicts Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. “After a few days of record warmth we will squeeze in one more warm but cloudy day before a cold front sweeps the region overnight.”
Through the weekend we’ll get partially sunny days, but temps will drop -- the National Weather Service predicts mid-60s for Saturday and mid-50s for Sunday. After that, we’ll get weather more suitable for this time of year, meteorologists expect.
