Con Ed To Give Out Dry Ice In Westchester Friday
BREAKING. The estimated time of restoration still 11 p.m. Monday; the public utility is giving out dry ice in two Westchester locations.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — In the wake of massive power outages caused by Tropical Storm Isaias, Con Edison announced it will be distributing dry ice at two Westchester County locations Friday.

- Yorktown Food Emporium, 355 Downing Drive, Yorktown Heights
- New Rochelle City Hall, 515 North Ave., rear parking lot, New Rochelle
The distribution will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. or until supplies run out. A mobile information center with workers available to answer customers’ questions is at each location until 9 p.m.
Instructions for safe handling and disposal of dry ice are printed on the bag containing the ice. It should be used only in well-ventilated areas. Children and pets should be kept away from dry ice.
