Connecticut Man Charged in Yorktown for Peddling Without a License

Police were called to a Yorktown neighbor for a complaint about a solicitor.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Connecticut man was arrested by Yorktown police for illegally soliciting door-to-door.

Andrew S. Boy, 26, of Moss Farm Road in Cheshire, Connecticut, was charged with peddling/soliciting without a license, a town code violation.

On Nov. 18, police were called to a Pine Grove Court residence to investigate a complaint of a solicitor in the neighborhood.

Police said that Boy was soliciting door-to-door without a Town of Yorktown Peddler’s License.

He was issued an appearance ticket at the scene and released on his own recognizance.

Boy is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Justice Court Dec. 13.
