Cortlandt Man Accused Of Breaking Into Car Dealership
Police said the man caused damage to the dealership and stole more than $3,000 worth of items.

YORKTOWN, NY — A Cortlandt Manor man was accused of burglarizing and damaging a car dealership.
The Yorktown Police Department said Jesus Gonzalez, 55, of Cortlandt Manor, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree grand larceny, all felonies.
Police said, around 6:30 a.m. Monday, an officer responded to Curry Honda at 3845 Crompond Road about a burglary that had occurred in the past.

After an investigation, Gonzalez was identified as a suspect and voluntarily appeared at police headquarters.
It was determined Gonzalez illegally entered the dealership and caused damage in excess of $1,500 to a door frame and lock, police said. He also stole multiple items from the business, having a value of more than $3,000, according to authorities.

He was arrested and charged with the felonies.
Gonzales was sent to the Westchester County Jail and is scheduled to return to the Yorktown Justice Court Oct. 21.
