Why a Hilltop Hanover Farm CSA Share?
The Farm grows without the use of pesticides, herbicides or synthesized fertilizers, and follows NOFA NY’s The Farmer’s Pledge. Sustainable farming practices, such as cover cropping and crop rotation, utilizing water conservation through drip irrigation and mulching, yield healthy food, while protecting vital agricultural land and the surrounding Croton Watershed.
Starting June you pick-up your share at the Farm each week, on your choice of Tuesday or Thursday. You choose from the weekly bounty which is displayed farm stand style. A weekly blog is offered full of recipes and information about each weeks produce, and helpful volunteer coordinators are on-hand to offer preparation suggestions.
