Yorktown AC improved to 11-3 in the 12U Girls North Division of the Westchester Putnam Baseball Association's Softball League with an 13-4 victory at Somers (7-5) on July 28.

Hudson Valley beat Buffalo 80-69 to improve to 3-0 at the BCANY Summer Hoops Festival in Johnson City according to Josh Thomson's post on the LoHud Varsity Insider.

Kennedy Catholic's Mike DeMello and Somers' John Decker contributed two points each to the Hudson Valley win.
