There are two other candidates seeking to unseat the incumbent Robert Astorino.

YORKTOWN, NY — Another hat has been tossed into the ring to become the Democratic candidate for Westchester County executive. David Spano of Yorktown, who previously ran for the top county job against his father Andy Spano and lost, said he wants to be a public servant.

He said he intends to win the Democratic nomination to challenge Republican Robert Astorino in his bid for a third term, the Journal News said.

Spano called himself a “progressive Democrat” and wants to work with both sides of the aisle.
