Dawn Honks Lead to DWI Charge

Daniel O’Keefe, 25, of Mohegan Lake, is due in Yorktown town court May 28 to answer a charge of driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Police said they were called at 6 a.m. April 26 by a resident of Poe Court, complaining that someone was driving a car erratically and blowing the horn repeatedly. Police Officer Donald Peters investigated.

O’Keefe, who is alleged to have been intoxicated at the time, was apparently acting up outside the home of someone with whom he had had an earlier fight.
