Delays Announced For Yorktown-Area Schools Friday

YORKTOWN, NY — Because of the snow event throughout the region, some school districts have announced delays or closings for Friday, Feb. 2. As of 7 a.m., they are as follows:

• Arlington Central School District: 3-hour delay
• Beacon City School District: 2-hour delay
• Bedford School District: Closed for students; Staff on 2-hour delay
• Cornwall Central School District: 2-hour delay
• Dovers UFSD: 2-hour delay
• Dutchess County Boces Salt Point & Beta Site: 2-hour delay
• Florida Union Free School District: 2-hour delay
• Goshen Central Schools: 2-hour delay
• Greenburgh Eleven At Childrens Village: 1.5-hour delay
• Greenwood Lake Union Free School District: 2-hour delay
• Harvey School: 2-hour delay
• Hayes Day School: 3-hour delay
• Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery Central School: 2-hour delay
• Hudson Hills Academy in Orange County: 2-hour delay
• Hudson Hills Montesorri in Dutchess County: 2-hour delay
• John F. Kennedy Catholic High School: Classes start at 10 a.m.
• John S Burke Catholic High School: 2-hour delay
• Kaplan Career Academy of New Windsor: 2-hour delay
