Don't Miss: EagleFest Feb. 7
Eagle shows, bird walks, bus tours, train talks— Teatown's 11th annual EagleFest ranges from Peekskill to Sleepy Hollow

If you like the idea of spending the day outdoors looking for bald eagles soaring above the Hudson River, Teatown’s 11th annual EagleFest is for you.
In celebration of the 150-plus bald eagles who spend the winter along the Hudson Valley waterways, a slew of events are slated to take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson, both outdoors and in heated tents. They will be centered around eagle shows and bird walks, and many of them are for children.
In addition, there are bus tours, viewing sites, and for the first time, a special train car for people coming up the river from points south such as New York City, Yonkers, Hastings-on-Hudson, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Tarrytown, Philipse Manor—with a naturalist guide to help make the most of the Hudson Line’s stunning views.
Teatown Lake Reservation hosts the event.
Sponsors include Club Fit, L.L. Bean, WHUD, Wheelabrator, Earth Alterations, Green Guru and Saw Mill River Audubon. And of course the event is made possible with the support of Westchester County and Westchester County Parks. Food for purchase will be provided by the Wobble Café.
