Mohegan Lake Day 2015 will be held on Sunday July 12—a day to celebrate the beautiful natural resource of the lake, as well as to raise awareness about the lake environment.
It is free and open to the public.
The day begins with a fishing derby for kids 12 and under (equipment and lessons provided), includes a talk on turtles, a presentation on the plans for Rock Hill Park (Holland Sporting Club), boat races (canoes, kayaks, row boats and sailboats), kids races and games, live music and storytelling, and at dusk setting off Chinese floating lanterns on the water and watching an outdoor movie.
