Down to the wire - choose wisely!
In case some of you out there neglected to take notice.....
Here are just a few of the highlights of what Kevin Byrne and Terrence Murphy have accomplished during these past two years:
- Stood up to NYC politicians and voted 20 times against tax increases totaling $32.6 billion;
- Introduced and sponsored legislation that would lower property taxes by as much as 30%;
- Passed critical legislation limiting opioid prescriptions to seven days (not thirty);
- Brought back state resources to support our local schools, libraries and infrastructure;
- Passed legislation to protect our veterans and first responders;
- Passed a constitutional amendment to strip pensions from corrupt politicians;
- Fought and WON the battle against hideous Coast Guard barges on the Hudson River;
- Took important steps to address the Harmful Algal Blooms in our lakes throughout the state;
- Introduced and passed more legislation than nearly any other recent lawmakers in NY!
So, what about Gashi? He only registered to vote in our district just last year and has received the backing of NYC special interests taking over $100,000 from NYC contributors. He supports dangerous policies that would make matters much worse for our state. He has already attended rallies openly calling for policies that would make New York a “Sanctuary State.” His campaign, according the NYSBOE filings, even went so far as to contract with NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio’s former election lawyer, a man the New York Times dubbed the “Power Behind Several Thrones” and that City and State Magazine ranked as the #1 most powerful person in the Bronx.
And what about Harckham? Does the name Joseph Percoco ring familiar to anyone? Just google "Harckham Percoco sugar daddy" and read the article in the Yonkers Times. Ouch.

Vote the person, not the party. Be smart. Don't shoot yourself in the foot because your neighbors are demanding you "vote blue" or be banished from civilization. I pais $63,974 in property taxes to the Town of Yorktown alone. I certainly don't want that to double - do you? Remember, the voting booths are PRIVATE and whatever you decide is between you and GOD.
Perhaps you should ask Him how you should vote.
