Dutchess County Man Kicked Car Door, Resisted Arrest in Yorktown
The Poughkeepsie man faces multiple charges.

YORKTOWN, NY — A City of Poughkeepsie man was arrested on multiple charges by Yorktown Police after he kicked and damaged a woman’s car door.
Police said Raymond Williams, 28, of Main Street, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and resisting arrest and false personation, misdemeanors.
On Jan. 27, around 6:15 p.m. police responded to a woman motorist at the intersection of Route 6 and East Main Street in Jefferson Valley.

She said a man, dressed in black, kicked and damaged the side door of her 2012 Dodge Durango.
Police said they located the man, later identified as Williams, at Donald J. Trump State Park, where he gave the officers a false name and then tried to run away while being placed under arrest.

Williams was taken to police headquarters, after which he was arraigned and sent to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
He is scheduled to appear in Yorktown Court Feb. 3.
