Celeste Belletti
Born in Queens and raised in Yorktown Hts. NY, Celeste has been the consummate performer from childhood. She took classical piano lessons for 10 years but her passion for jazz and pop music coupled with her own "left-hand bass" style has made Celeste's performance memorable and delightful. Composer Julie Gold (of Bette Midler's hit From a Distance) says "Celeste, you are inspired and inspiring." The Greenwich Village Press says "She can rock'em, she can roll'em, the fabulous Celeste! Blessed with a rich alto voice and enough rhythm for six, Celeste is a delightful entertainer."
Celeste, as a child use to imitate cartoons and other noises perfecting sound effects with her voice. Later on in life, while performing with her brother Ken, she imitated a trumpet into the mic…from then on Celeste's ability to imitate musical instruments became part of her act. The Westchester Gannett News says, "When Celeste sings it seems like another saxophone or a flute or a clarinet or a violin is playing."
