Alumni Clarinet Quartet - FREE Concert

The John C. Hart Memorial Library is pleased to announce an exceptional free event, The Alumni Clarinet Quartet on Saturday, August 14 at 2:00 PM.  The Program is FREE and open to the public, registration not needed. The library is located at 1130 Main Street, Shrub Oak, NY 10588.

The Quartet is made up of recent Yorktown High School graduates who would like to give Yorktown a free concert before they go off to college in the fall.  The afternoon program will run a little over an hour and include various playing styles from early music to polka to jazz to tango. They will introduce each number and talk a little bit about the history of each and how the clarinet connects to it all.

The Quartet is comprised of: Carolyn Lieberman (2008) - University of Vermont, Brian Denu (2009) - Gettysburg College, Evan Kuras (2010) - Boston University and Devon Faulkner (2010) - University of Massachusetts Amherst.
