Cary Brown Jazz Concert

On Sunday October 14th at 3:00 pm. the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown will kick-off it’s twelfth annual Sunday Afternoon Concert Series with an afternoon of jazz with the Cary Brown Trio.


Cary Brown has been an international touring musician since the early 90's, when he toured extensively with the founding fathers of Jamaican jazz, The Skatalites. He has since played, recorded, and toured with many diverse artists, including The Toasters, The New York Ska-Jazz Ensemble, The Sloan Wainwright Band, and Levon Helm. He is joined by Kermit Driscoll on Bass and Pete Zimmer on drums. This concert was a rousing success last year when Cary was joined by saxophone and rock guitar as well.
