The works of local artists and artisans will be featured at the Hudson Crafts Collective’s Mothers’ Day Crafts Show. Taking place exactly a week before Mothers’ Day, this is a great opportunity to browse through a large and varied assortment of beautiful handmade items to find the perfect Mothers’ Day gift. There will be handcrafted art jewelry – ranging from silver, copper and other metals to lamp-worked and fused glass, crocheted wire, semi-precious stones and miniature lacquered origami. There will be lovely hand crafted wooden bowls and little boxes, pottery, serving trays, note cards, mobiles, hand-felted art work, collage and more! All are original designs, creatively conceived and meticulously crafted by artisans living and working in this community.
Throughout the day there will be craft demonstrations of different kinds including felting, pottery, 30-minute oil portraits, and silhouettes created on the spot.
