Finding inspiration in American People, Black Light: Faith Ringgold's Paintings of the 1960s, children up to age 10 participate in a flag-making art workshop in which they'll experience the power of mixing words and images as they explore their own culture, race and identity.
Docents layer storytelling into the tours as they introduce participants to some of the many children's books written by Faith Ringgold.
