The public is invited to the 10th Annual Spring Concert on May 15th at 4:00, featuring our Choir, soloists, invited guests and Handbell Choir. The Concert will present a spring bouquet of classical and romantic music including selections from Bach, Mozart, Schubert, Brahms, Vivaldi, Dvorak and Tchaikovsky, — as well as more contemporary gospel selections.
The concert begins with the the Vivaldi double concerto for oboes, with guest soloists Rita Mitsel and Alexandra Detyniecki. Conductor Simona Frenkel has selected several movements from the Bach Missa Brevis, featuring the choir and guest soloists Daniel Malckentin Tenor, and Patrick Blackwell, Bass-Baritone. Come prepared for an exciting smorgasbord of musical delights! A reception will follow in Fellowship Hall.
