
July 23rd will be proclaimed "Sweet Adelines International Day" in honor of the day that founder Edna May Anderson who first gathered a group of women singers, who began this organization whose motto is "Harmonize the World." The Golden Apple Chorus, the only Sweet Adeline chorus in Westchester, will introduce the public to fun-filled, chord-ringing music sung in four-part, a cappella harmony barbershop style. The Golden Apple Chorus is planning a FREE musical performance for that day for the Seniors of Mt. Pleasant at the Community Center, 125 Lozza Drive, Valhalla, NY. The performance is also open to the public. The time will be 11 am.
