Join Danny's Cycles as we host "Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day" at Sprain Ridge Park and Yorktown Trailway at 9:00 am. We will be leading a short ride for you and your kids through some nice easy trails and share tips to build their skills and confidence. We will be discussing some topics such as hydration, helmet fitting, safety, skills and bike handling, rules of the trail, etc. Great way to introduce kids to mountain biking!
Be sure to bring a helmet (for all adults and children), a mountain bike, water, sunscreen, bug spray, cell phone and a repair kit.

We believe that kids should be on bikes everyday, we're encouraging all participants to sign up for the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award (PALA), whereby you pledge to be active at least 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Youth (6-17 years) should get moving for at least 60 minutes per day, and adults (18 years or older) should be active for 30 minutes per day.
What better way to get active than to be out riding a bike?
