Yale Whiffenpoofs Concert

On April 3rd 2011, the internationally famous Yale Whiffenpoofs will appear at the First Presbyterian Church of Yorktown Heights at 3:00 p.m. Suggested donation is $20.00.

The Whiffenpoofs are the world’s oldest and most famous a cappella group, comprised of 14 senior men from Yale. The group performs a diverse repertoire ranging from traditional Yale songs and jazz standards to ballads and show music. The group has performed for U.S. Presidents, Mother Theresa and the Dalai Lama (in no particular order). They have appeared at Carnegie Hall, the White House, Lincoln Center, the Rose Bowl and the World Series, -- to name a few… and now, the First Presbyterian Church in Yorktown.

No performance is complete without a generous dose of choreography and a unique brand of humor. And it is this perfect blend of humor, musicality and showmanship that leaves audiences around the world begging for more.
