Evelyn Creegan, of Yorktown Heights, Dies at 95

YORKTOWN, NY — Evelyn Creegan of Yorktown Heights, former long-time resident of the Bronx, died on October 13, 2016. She was 95.

She was born in the Bronx, resided there and worked as the Secretary to the President of Gristede Bros. before retiring to Yorktown Heights.

Mrs. Creegan is survived by her four children: John Creegan, Eileen Moscati and her husband Thomas, Dennis Creegan and his wife, Susan, and Ken Creegan and his wife Patricia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Creegan was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1986.

Calling hours are Sunday, October 16, 2016, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights.

The Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, October 17, 2016, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Church in Shrub Oak. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Putnam Valley.
