Father, Son Arrested For Assault In Yorktown
Police said a store employee was pushed and a customer was injured.

YORKTOWN, NY — A father and son face assault charges after an altercation in a store on Commerce Street.
Yorktown Police said Brandin N. Rivera, 42, and Brandon S. Rivera, 27, both of Yorktown, were charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and disorderly conduct, a violation.
Around 1:50 a.m. April 16, police responded to a call about a fight in progress at 1949 Commerce St.

An investigation found that the father and son allegedly threatened and pushed a store employee.
There was also an alleged fight with a customer that resulted in an injury to the customer's face.

Both Riveras were arrested and taken to the Yorktown Police Department for processing.
They were arraigned and released on their own recognizance to appear in court April 27.
