Frederick R. Boehmer, Longtime Yorktown Heights Resident, Dies at 95

YORKTOWN, NY — Frederick R. Boehmer, a longtime resident of Yorktown Heights, was born on December 8, 1920, and died on October 28, 2016.

Boehmer graduated from Yorktown High School and was in the Army from 1940 -1945, where he served in the 85th Fighter Squadron 79th Fighter Group.

In 1942, he married Marion Jarvis.

Once out of the Army, he went to work as an iron worker.

Boehmer was 95 years old and is survived by three children, eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife and a daughter.

A visitation will be held at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights, NY, on Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 10 a.m. to noon.
