Free Knitting Support Circle Planned in Yorktown Heights
This knitting circle is open to women living with breast, ovarian and gynecological cancers.
From Support Connection: Support Connection announces the next session of their free monthly program “Marge’s Knitting Circle” will take place on Thurs., Apr. 27 from 2-3:30 pm at the Support Connection office in Yorktown Heights, NY. Great comfort is found by many in the time-honored practices of knitting and crocheting. Knitting circles offer women a place to gather around a common interest. In this monthly group, Support Connection provides the time and space for women to begin or finish a knitting or crocheting project. Rekindle the joy of creating while spending time with other women who have experienced cancer.
All are welcome: Experienced crafters and those who’d like to learn the basics of knitting or crocheting. For newcomers, extra yarn and needles will be available to get you started.
