Free Performance by M&M Productions of 'PAINTING CHURCHES' at the Somers Library
M&M Productions of 'PAINTING CHURCHES' Play at the Somers Library

M&M Productions will present a performance of ‘PAINTING CHURCHES’ on Sunday, Nov 9th at 2 pm. This free performance is sponsored by the Friends of the Somers Library*.
‘Paintng Churches” is a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Drama and written by Tina Howe. The part of Mags will be played by WHUD Radio personality and cohost of Mike & Kacey in the Morning. Her parents will be portrayed by M&M veterans Kurt Lauer and Carol Eagen with Jim Petrillo directing.
“Beautifully written. . . . A theatrical family portrait that has the shimmer and depth of Renoir portraits.” - The New York Times. “A radiant, loving and zestfully humorous play . . . distinctly Chekhovian. Howe captures the same edgy surface of false hilarity, the same unutterable sadness beneath it, and the indomitable valor beneath both.” – Time.
