Have Weekend Plans? Here's the Latest Weather Forecast for Somers and Yorktown

Well you certainly deserve this: After months of being cooped up inside all winter we’re finally looking at a gorgeous weekend, with what could be the best weekend forecast since October.

There will be plenty of sunshine, with temperatures near 60.

It’s not all mild—the winds will be pretty gusty on Saturday, possibly around 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Still. The warm-up continues into next week, with the 60s and sunny for Monday and Tuesday before rain is predicted to return.

Of course we’ve still got to get to the weekend. Today will be cold and rainy with high temperatures in the low 40s, and it will be warmer on Friday with temps in the mid 50s, but—you guessed it—more rain is possible before Friday night.

• Friday-Cloudy. A chance of rain in the morning...then showers with isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. Areas of fog in the morning...then patchy fog in the afternoon. Not as cool with highs in the lower 60s. South winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent.
• Friday Night-Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers in the evening...then mostly clear after midnight. Lows in the mid 40s. West winds 5 to 10 mph. Chance of rain 50 percent.
• Saturday-Mostly sunny and breezy. Highs around 60. West winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
• Saturday Night-Partly cloudy in the evening...then becoming mostly clear. Lows in the lower 30s.
• Sunday-Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s.
• Sunday Night-Clear. Lows around 40.
• Monday-Mostly sunny. Highs in the mid 60s.
