H&M Opens New Space in Yorktown Mall

WHAT: H&M, (Hennes & Mauritz AB), one of the world’s largest retailers famous for offering fashion-forward apparel at affordable prices, will unveil its new location at the Jefferson Valley Mall at noon Thursday. The new 19,000 square foot space is located in the Macy’s Wing on Retail Level Two, including “store within a store” sections for accessories and H&M’s children’s collection, for newborns up to 14 year-olds.

To celebrate the grand opening of its new, modern space at Jefferson Valley Mall, H&M will offer the first 100 shoppers in line an H&M t-shirt and an Access to Fashion Pass, valued between $10 and $300, in addition to other surprise offers for the whole family. Plus, shoppers can bring in old garments to be recycled to be entered to win an H&M gift card valued at up to $250.

WHY: Since H&M opened the doors to its first U.S. store on New York’s Fifth Avenue, the U.S. has been one of the retailer’s most successful markets. H&M has 416 locations across the country.
