Hundred Acre Wood Exhibit Comes To Lasdon Park
"Forest Friends" walks viewers through a "storybook" fantasy.

SOMERS, NY — The Hundred Acre Wood Exhibit “Forest Friends” comes to Lasdon Park, Arboretum and Veterans Memorial this spring. The new exhibit is scheduled to open Saturday, April 9, and runs select days and times through Sunday, May 29.
Located inside the Conservatory, this presentation walks viewers through a “storybook” fantasy featuring the original characters of A.A. Milne and inspired art of E.H. Shepard, according to a spokesperson. Winnie the Pooh and friends come to life with enchanting visuals that teaches children about the importance of our forests and the inhabitants that live there.
The display features five giant books, more than 6 feet tall, that will present a poetic, animated lesson centered around a character from the classic works. In addition, interactive signage will coordinate with each lesson allowing children and adults a hands-on sensory experience.
