How did Austin Road Elementary kindergartners celebrate the 100th day of school this year? By collecting “100 Cans of Caring” for the St. John's Food Pantry in Mahopac. “The children enjoyed bringing in food for those in need in our local community,” said kindergarten teacher Diane Binns. “Using tally marks, they counted to 100 by 1's, 5's and 10's!”
