J-Teen Leadership comes together for a Day of Health and Wellness!
WESTCHESTER JEWISH TEENS COME TOGETHER FOR AN AFTERNOON OF HEALTH AND WELLNESS AT EUGENIO MARIA DE HOSTOS MICROSOCIETY SCHOOL

Over 100 Jewish teens from across Westchester County will participate along with 10,000 Jewish teens from across North America, Europe, and Israel in a day of community service and improvement projects as they take part in J-SERVE, the International Day of Jewish Youth Service on April 17. J-SERVE 2016 is the Jewish service component of the Global Youth Service Day of Youth Service America.
On Sunday, April 17 2016, the 2016 Westchester J-SERVE project: Teens for “Wealth of Health” project will take place from 1pm – 3pm at the Eugenio Maria de Hostos Microsociety School in Yonkers. A teen planning committee of fourteen teens from across Westchester from 7 area high schools has worked together since January to plan an afternoon of interactive fun for elementary school students and their families through activities promoting healthy, happy and nutritious households.
The teens are collecting books to be given away as part of the afternoon of fun. Youth groups from across Westchester have joined in the effort and are sponsoring booths at the WEALTH OF HEALTH – Carnival.
