SOMERS, NY — Somers High School Science Research needs volunteers to serve as judges at an upcoming competition. The Westchester-Rockland Junior Science & Humanities Symposium Competition will be held Feb. 8.

Somers High School has 14 students registered for the competition and needs to provide five judges, based on the number of students who will be participating. If five judges are not provided by Friday, Jan. 10, Somers High School students will be disqualified from competition.

Organizers said people who serve as judges must have a science background such as a science teacher or a parent/friend/colleague who works in a scientific field.
